Role Overview
We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant who enjoys meaningful conversations with candidates, understands skill fitment deeply, and can represent client companies and roles in a consultative and credible manner.
This role is not sourcing-heavy. You will work closely with a Talent Sourcer who supports you with candidate pipelines. Your focus will be on candidate discussions, fitment evaluation, role selling, relationship building, and long-term talent mapping.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Engagement & Fitment

Conduct detailed discussions with sourced candidates to understand:

Skills, experience, and project exposure

Career goals, motivations, and constraints

Evaluate suitability for:

Current open roles

Future and long-term opportunities

Provide honest, consultative career guidance to candidates
Role & Company Representation

Clearly explain client companies, teams, and job roles

Position opportunities in a compelling but transparent way

Answer candidate questions related to:

Team structure
-
Tech stack / game engines
-
Growth opportunities
-

Build trust and credibility through quality conversations
Candidate Profiling & Database Quality

Maintain accurate and structured candidate profiles

Update skills, experience, and preferences for long-term reference

Tag candidates for niche skills, engines, platforms, or seniority
Relationship Building & Branding

Build long-term relationships with high-quality professionals

Act as a brand ambassador for both:

Client studios
-
The recruitment agency
-

Maintain regular touchpoints with relevant candidates
Collaboration & Process

Work closely with Talent Sourcers on candidate pipelines

Share feedback to improve sourcing quality

Coordinate interviews and follow-ups with internal team members
Required Skills & Experience
-
2–6 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
-
Strong experience in candidate-facing recruitment roles
-
Ability to assess skill fitment beyond keywords
-
Confident communication skills (spoken & written English)

Comfortable discussing roles, teams, and career paths

Organized, detail-oriented, and relationship-driven
Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience recruiting for:

Gaming, tech, product, or digital roles

Exposure to consultative or boutique recruitment firms

Understanding of niche or skill-based hiring
